A Living Revelation of God vs. A Letter Written in Stone

Anyone wanting to know God’s nature need only to behold Jesus Christ. Not only is Christ the image of God’s Word in the flesh, but He’s also the perfect reflection of the Father, in human form. Jesus is the expression of God specifically revealed in a way that let’s us can understand God’s love, mercy, and compassion. Jesus is life and brings life to us; by comparison, the Law of Moses, which can’t reveal Jesus, brings death. This radical shift from Old-Testament law to New-Testament grace impacts all areas of our life; even in our financial giving. Unlike the old covenant, God now wants our hearts, not just our service. Letting Jesus influence what goes on in our hearts enables us to keep the law with the right motives.
