Daily Devotionals

Would you like to read the Word daily, but don’t know how to begin? Reading our Daily Devotionals is a good way to develop the habit of studying the scriptures.

God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us (Ephesians 3:20, MSG).

God’s goodness and mercy are so vast that we could never comprehend them with our limited imaginations. However, we can begin to experience His love when we respond to His Spirit and let Him guide and direct us.

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good (Psalm 53:1).

The world has its share of people who don’t believe God exists, and their lives reflect the thoughts they entertain. God sees these people as corrupt fools who commit disgusting acts before His eyes.

But we are citizens of the state (commonwealth, homeland) which is in heaven, and from it also we earnestly and patiently await [the coming of] the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) [as] Savior (Philippians 3:20, AMPC).

Although believers physically live in this world now, this living arrangement is temporary. As God’s children and members of His divine family, our true and permanent residency is in heaven.

Parents rejoice when their children turn out well; wise children become proud parents. So make your father happy! Make your mother proud! (Proverbs 23:24, 25, MSG).

Wise parents make sure their children learn what the Bible says and then apply those principles and lessons to their lives. God’s advice to children (who will one day grow up and become parents themselves) is to pass His message on to future generations.

Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes’ (Mark 9:23, NKJV).

Often, we limit ourselves—and God—through our own doubt and unbelief. When we truly believe God’s Word, we let Him unlock and free our minds and spirits. His power is manifested in our lives, and we begin to see miracle after miracle.

The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork (Psalm 19:1, 2, NKJV).

Getting too wrapped up in the everyday things of the world can cause us to miss out on the beauty all around us that God created. Taking a few moments to watch a morning sunrise, smell the fragrant flowers blooming in the springtime, and listen to the sounds of birds chirping and the wind rustling through the trees gives us a glimpse into His nature.
