Daily Devotionals
Would you like to read the Word daily, but don’t know how to begin? Reading our Daily Devotionals is a good way to develop the habit of studying the scriptures.

“Despise the word, will you? Then you’ll pay the price and it won’t be pretty! But the one who honors the Father’s holy instructions will be rewarded” (Proverbs 13:13, TPT).
We live in an environment that hates God’s Word and refuses to accept it, which is why believers are to live in the world without becoming part of it. What pleases Him is when we live by His instructions, which are based on His law of love.

“He himself carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we would be dead to sin and live for righteousness. Our instant healing flowed from his wounding” (1 Peter 2:24, TPT).
The sin that originated in the garden of Eden blocked man’s access to heaven and opened the door for sickness and death. Jesus gave His life to restore what had been lost; faith in what He did immediately restores our spirits.

“There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His” (Hebrews 4:9, 10, NKJV).
Unlike the unsaved, believers can rest from laboring through their own efforts to earn what Jesus has already accomplished. It’s a relief knowing that we don’t have to depend on ourselves for everything we need in life. By faith, His finished works have made it all available to us.

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).
Jesus went to the cross not only to take away all our sins, but also all our ailments, sickness, and disease. He willingly shed His blood and sacrificed Himself so we could enjoy perfect health and a sound mind.

“I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place” (Psalm 118:5).
Life seems to have plenty of opportunities for trouble and distress, but God is always willing to come to our rescue. When we feel trapped and hemmed in by a situation, we can go to Him in prayer, ask for His help, and He’ll deliver us.

“And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy. And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately” (Acts 9:33, 34).
It’s not God’s will that we tolerate sickness; therefore, He gave us the same healing power that He gave to Jesus Christ and the apostles. We have the ability to get results by utilizing that power and speaking out in faith.
