Would you like to read the Word daily, but don’t know how to begin? Reading our Daily Devotionals is a good way to develop the habit of studying the scriptures.

“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you” (John 15:16, NKJV).
As believers, the spiritual fruit that we bear powerfully affects others and has eternal impact. We’re God’s beloved children; we therefore have the right for our prayers to be answered and our requests granted.

“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings” (Proverbs 4:20).
Just as students in school learn to excel academically when they tend to their studies and pay attention to their instructor, we learn what we need to know for success in life by attending to God’s Word. As students of grace, we learn godly wisdom that the world lacks.

“Then Peter replied, ‘I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism’” (Acts 10:34, NLT).
In our daily lives, most of us have been exposed to favoritism in some form for so long that we’ve stopped noticing it. However, this is not how God operates; He sees everyone the same and extends the same love and forgiveness to all, regardless of who they are.

“For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God” (1 Peter 1:23, NLT).
Our lives aren’t the sum total of what we do or what we see around us on the physical level. If we have accepted Jesus Christ, they take on a whole new meaning because we gain an eternal perspective.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” (Joshua 1:8).
Most people are unaware of the spiritual laws that God put in operation. One of those laws is the law of receiving, which says that to receive success, or anything else from Him, we must first understand what He has made available to us.

“Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment” (Proverbs 4:7, NLT).
People who don’t know God are devoid of wisdom and prone to poor judgment, and their lives reflect that. The only way to real success is to be humble enough to let Him give us both wisdom and good judgment.
