Daily Devotionals

Would you like to read the Word daily, but don’t know how to begin? Reading our Daily Devotionals is a good way to develop the habit of studying the scriptures.

“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son” (1 John 5:11).

Jesus’ birth brought God to us in human form, so that we might be reconnected to Him and inherit eternal life. All who accept the Son receive this life.

“Glory to God in the heavenly heights, peace to all men and women on earth who please him” (Luke 2:14, MSG).

Jesus lived according to the Spirit, not according to the flesh, which was pleasing to the Father. Everything He said and did was to glorify God. Christ in us empowers us also to be pleasing to God.

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5:48).

We can’t begin to approach perfection by our own actions; this is possible only through Jesus. Letting Him live inside us makes us holy, blameless, and worthy to stand in God’s presence.

“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17).

Jesus is the perfect image of the Father’s love, and we’re perfected through Him. When we realize that, we won’t have to wait until we get to heaven to experience God’s best—the manifestations of what Jesus is can begin in us right now.

“Thus says the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: ‘Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons; and concerning the work of My hands, you command Me’” (Isaiah 45:11, NKJV).

God has given us dominion over all He has made. Believers have the same authority as Jesus; when we command the binding or releasing of something on the earth in His name, it’s also bound or released in heaven.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life]” (Proverbs 18:21, AMPC).

Our words have the potential to transfer what already exists in the supernatural realm into the natural realm; everything we say brings consequences, either good or bad. Faith in the authority of the spoken word brings to pass in our lives either blessings or curses.
