The Bereavement Support Ministry caters to our members and their families, who have loved ones who have transitioned. We assist on the day of the homegoing service by volunteering to serve the family in all capacities during the homegoing and the repast. We usher, greet, minister salvation, and provide food service. Our goal is to minister the love and grace of God through our service.
The one true requirement for being a Children's Ministry volunteer is to have a heart to serve. The objective is to minister the Word of God in fun-filled ways that include action-based praise and worship, colorful arts and craft projects, interactive story time, skits and activities that meet the children at their age levels. Thereby inspiring and encouraging them to read their Bibles, pray, and seek God's face daily. We support parents as they train their children to apply the Word in their everyday lives, and provide parents with the confidence and peace of mind to leave their children in our care. Children’s Ministry is available during regular Saturday evening and Sunday morning, and is located next door to the area of the main WCCNY Location.
